Team Building Event Cteam Consulting u. Anlagenbau GmbH
On a bright sunny afternoon on May 4, 2023 at 4:00 PM we kicked off an energetic Geocaching event in Bamberg right on the Cathedral Square, where I had the pleasure of welcoming the 34 participants from Cteam Consulting u. Anlagenbau GmbH.
As the CityHunters team guide I first gave a brief introduction: we went over the schedule, rules and how to use the tablets with our CityHunters app so everyone was well prepared to start the city tour. After that the participants split into six teams and set off to explore the town center, earning points for solved puzzles and creative team tasks. This is how a genuine team building experience in Bamberg begins - with fun, excitement and a clear goal in mind.
The route took the groups to well-known and hidden spots around the city. Along the way they came across historic squares around Bamberg Cathedral, admired the Old Town Hall and discovered charming views from the Michelsberg Benedictine Monastery. Each station presented new challenges that required observation and team spirit. Time and again you could hear encouraging shouts and laughter - exactly what makes a team building experience in Bamberg so special.
During the two-hour tour the teams were on their own and competed fairly for the most points. I was reachable by phone in case of technical questions or clarifications, and I enjoyed the creative approaches the groups came up with. The consistently positive atmosphere clearly strengthened collaboration and led to many aha moments.
After exactly two hours everyone met back at the Cathedral Square in Bamberg for the awards ceremony. The excitement was high and the joy over completed challenges and newly formed connections was palpable. A concise debrief, a few heartfelt congratulations and proud winners rounded off the evening.
