Team Building Event UnternehmerTUM
Old Town always shows its lively side – as it did on our exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching day.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed 14 colleagues from UnternehmerTUM at Max-Joseph-Platz on 03.05.2023 at 12:00 PM. After a brief introduction I split the group into two teams: the investigators were equipped with tablets and our app, and then set off to hunt for clues across Old Town.
Our interactive murder mystery combined puzzle fun with real discoveries around the city. The teams made their way independently, collected clues, solved tricky challenges and competed in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and for team tasks completed together – a true team building experience in Old Town that called for communication and creativity.
Along the route we passed well-known spots: a view of the Frauenkirche, stops near the Deutsches Museum and the impressive facades around the Neues Rathaus were all part of the scene. These landmarks became the settings for gripping cases and repeatedly sparked discussion and shared exchanges within the teams. In this way the team building experience in Old Town became tangible and immediately noticeable.
During the three hours of play I was reachable by phone for questions, helped with technical issues in the app and provided hints when needed without taking over the investigations. The weather cooperated, which lifted spirits and made the atmosphere pleasant.
After exactly three hours everyone reconvened at Max-Joseph-Platz for the award ceremony. It was wonderful to see how differently the teams approached the tasks and how much fun they had solving the cases together. The winners were celebrated – and most importantly the sense of togetherness was strengthened.
This event once again showed how effective and entertaining a team building experience in Old Town can be: exciting, interactive and memorable. Anyone wanting to experience the city anew will find the perfect combination of adventure, team spirit and city exploration here.
