Team Building Event TIMOCOM GmbH
The bright sunshine accompanied us that afternoon and set the mood for our Geocaching event.
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of welcoming 15 participants from TIMOCOM GmbH at Grabbeplatz on May 3, 2023, at 4:30 pm. After a short briefing and a few organizational notes, we divided the group into three teams and gave each team a tablet with the CityHunters app, the perfect foundation for our interactive adventure. The team building experience in Düsseldorf revealed itself at its best.
The route led the teams through the lively Düsseldorf city center. With clever puzzles, team tasks and small search assignments, they passed both well-known spots and hidden corners. Many teams were delighted by spontaneous discoveries near landmarks such as the Rheinturm, the Königsallee and the Museum Kunstpalast. Competitive spirit sat comfortably alongside genuine team spirit: points were earned by solving tasks correctly and through creative collaboration.
Throughout the entire 2.5-hour tour I remained reachable by phone as a team guide in case any questions or technical issues arose. The teams worked with focus and a lot of fun, hunted for clues, puzzled things out together and in doing so strengthened their communication and cooperation — exactly what a good team building experience in Düsseldorf aims to achieve.
At the end everyone met back at Grabbeplatz for the award ceremony. The pleasure of shared experiences, funny anecdotes and the close head-to-head race for the most points was clearly noticeable. Moments like these are the core of team building experience in Düsseldorf: they connect, motivate and stay with the team for a long time.
As a guide it was wonderful to see participants interacting, laughing and rediscovering the city. Geocaching offers a refreshing blend of play, discovery and collaboration — an ideal way to experience Düsseldorf from a new perspective while strengthening the team spirit.
