Sunshine and mild spring weather accompanied our iPad Tour through Lüneburg and set the mood from the very beginning.
On 21 April 2023 at 3:00 pm I, as a CityHunters team guide, met the 13 participants from Ostfriesische Tee Gesellschaft Laurens Spethmann GmbH & Co. KG at the Market Square, where we were warmly welcomed. After a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters App, we split the group into three teams and the adventure began.
Our iPad Tour combines modern technology with playful city exploration and is a real driver for team building experience in Lüneburg. Each team used their iPad to navigate to challenges, solve tricky puzzles and complete creative team tasks. The app displayed live scores and kept the excitement high until the last minute.
The teams explored well-known corners of the city such as St. Nicolai, Lüneburg Town Hall and the Lüneburg Water Tower. Along the way there were plenty of surprising aha moments and hearty laughs — exactly what good team building experience in Lüneburg is all about. Participants were able to contribute their strengths, make quick decisions and solve problems together.
During the tour the groups moved independently and competed fairly for the most points. As team guide I was reachable by phone and provided support with questions or technical issues without interrupting the teams' dynamics.
After roughly three hours everyone gathered again at the Market Square for the award ceremony. The pleasure over successful tasks, cleverly solved puzzles and new team experiences was palpable. The tour offered not only entertainment but also lasting team building experience in Lüneburg: you get to know colleagues in new ways, strengthen cohesion and create shared memories.
For me it was a thoroughly successful afternoon with a motivated group, great team spirit and a lot of fun. If you want to experience Lüneburg in a new, interactive way and at the same time foster team cohesion, this iPad Tour is the perfect format.
