Team Building Event Siemens AG
Our event concept combines modern technology with playful exploration and is designed to strengthen team cohesion.
As a CityHunters team guide I accompanied an iPad Tour on April 20, 2023 at 2:30 pm for 21 employees of Siemens AG in Nuremberg. The meeting point was the Troedelmarkt, where I warmly welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters app. Participants were then split into four motivated teams and the big city adventure could begin.
During our iPad Tour in Nuremberg the teams navigated the city center independently, discovered corners full of history and solved interactive tasks at landmark locations. Whether at Nuremberg Castle, the Frauenkirche or the Albrecht Dürer House – there were tricky puzzles, photo tasks and creative team challenges everywhere, with points to be earned. The app linked the groups in real time, displayed scores and created a lively competition that brought plenty of excitement and good spirits.
Throughout the tour the teams were on their own and could choose their strategy freely: communication, observation and inventiveness paid off. I was reachable by phone for any technical or organizational questions and could provide quick support without disrupting the flow of the game.
The weather played along, the mood was upbeat and the mix of discovery and playful competition promoted exactly what a team building experience in Nuremberg stands for: getting to know one another, trust and shared success. I heard spontaneous laughter, creative approaches and encouraging exchanges between colleagues more than once – genuine teamwork that’s great fun.
After three hours all groups reassembled at the Troedelmarkt for the joint awards ceremony. The joy over small and large achievements was clearly palpable, and many participants emphasized how much they enjoyed the iPad Tour as a modern team building event. This gives the team building experience in Nuremberg a fresh face: active, interactive and creating lasting connections.
