Team Building Event Mannheim Business School gGmbH
Perfect spring weather greeted us on March 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM and set the mood as I welcomed the group from Mannheim Business School gGmbH at Dalbergplatz.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed 21 motivated participants. After a short introduction and being split into three teams, everyone received the instructions and the equipment for our Geocaching adventure. The CityHunters app on the devices explained the game flow, and then we were off: a team building experience in Mannheim in its most exciting form.
The teams roamed across the city, discovering both well-known spots and hidden corners of Mannheim. At stations near Mannheim Palace, at Kunsthalle Mannheim and within sight of the National Theatre the groups staged a friendly neck-and-neck race. Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and tackling creative team challenges – team spirit and clear communication paid off.
Throughout the tour the teams managed on their own and enjoyed the challenge, though I was available by phone in case any questions or technical issues arose. It is precisely this mix of self-organization and support that makes our Geocaching format so valuable for a team building experience in Mannheim: people get to know each other better, laugh together and strengthen their collaboration almost automatically.
After three hours we met again at Dalbergplatz for the award ceremony. The shared debrief and the beaming faces at the crowning of the winners made for a perfect finale. Moments like these show how effective and at the same time entertaining a team building experience in Mannheim can be.
The combination of puzzles, city exploration and friendly competition turns any company event into a special experience. It was a pleasure to accompany the group from Mannheim Business School and to see how collaboration, creativity and good timing led to success.
