Team Building Event LaViesta GmbH
Our event concept blends modern technology with playful competition and naturally strengthens team spirit: the CityHunters iPad Tour in Norderney turns exploring the town into an interactive experience.
On 25.03.2023 at 13:30 I had the pleasure of welcoming the LaViesta GmbH group to their tour as a team guide. The meeting point was GOSCH Norderney on Wilhelmstraße, a perfect starting point for our shared adventure. After a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app, the 45 participants were split into eight teams. Each received a device and off they went: team building experience in Norderney at its liveliest.
The teams wandered through the town on their own, solved puzzles, completed creative tasks and collected points. The mix of history, culture and modern technology encouraged everyone to devise strategies together and support one another. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour and helped with small questions, but the real dynamic came from the groups working independently.
The weather wasn't exactly kind, but the fresh wind and relaxed atmosphere did nothing to dampen spirits. If anything, wind and clouds added extra energy and conversation topics, and participants enjoyed the island's unique vibe. Team building experience in Norderney works in sun or storm — what matters is doing it together.
Along the route the teams discovered charming corners and well-known sights like the Kurtheater, the Evangelische Inselkirche and the harbor. At each station new tasks awaited that challenged teamwork, powers of observation and creativity. The live scoring in the app kept the excitement going until the end.
After about three hours all groups met back at GOSCH Norderney for the awards ceremony. The mood was buoyant, experiences and anecdotes were shared — exactly what team building experience in Norderney is all about: shared memories, conversations and a noticeably stronger sense of togetherness.
It was a pleasure to accompany the LaViesta teams. Events like this show how much fun working as a team can be and how much shared experiences connect people. We are already looking forward to the next iPad Tour in Norderney!
