Team Building Event TenneT TSO GmbH

On March 8, 2023 at 4:00 PM, 25 participants from TenneT TSO GmbH set off in Bayreuth for a special company event.

As the CityHunters team guide I waited for the group at Residenzplatz and warmly welcomed everyone to Murder Mystery Geocaching. After a short introduction and a walkthrough of the app, colleagues were split into five teams. Armed with tablets and curiosity, the teams began their investigations — very much a team building experience in Bayreuth.

The city revealed its stories: the route led teams past the Margravial Opera House, on to Haus Wahnfried and up to the New Palace. At each stop they gathered clues, solved puzzles and completed joint team challenges. Points were awarded for clever solutions and effective collaboration, a great format for strengthening camaraderie through play. The atmosphere was lively, the tasks challenging, and they encouraged interaction within the teams.

The weather was on the chilly side, but that did not dampen the mood. A brisk wind and occasional drizzle added to the sense of adventure and boosted team spirit: planning together under mild time pressure and laughing over creative solutions. Moments like these are exactly what a team building experience in Bayreuth is all about.

During the tour my team and I were reachable by phone, so we could quickly help with questions or technical issues. After exactly two hours all teams met again at Residenzplatz for the awards ceremony. The return was marked by pride, stories and a noticeably strengthened sense of togetherness.

This Murder Mystery Geocaching clearly demonstrated the potential of shared challenges. Whether searching for clues at historic sites like the Margravial Opera House or puzzling things out in front of the Bayreuth Art Museum, participants experienced an active, motivating event. A team building experience in Bayreuth thrives on moments like these: excitement, fun and true teamwork. I am already looking forward to the next exciting round of investigations in this beautiful city.
