Team Building Event FUCHS Lubricants Germany GmbH
On January 25, 2023 at 5:00 PM I had the pleasure of guiding an exciting Geocaching event for 14 colleagues from FUCHS Lubricants Germany GmbH in Frankfurt. The meeting point was in front of the NH Collection Frankfurt City on Vilbeler Straße, a central starting spot from which we set off together to explore the city.
After a brief introduction and dividing into three teams, each group received a tablet with the CityHunters app and their first tasks. The atmosphere was immediately positive: focused, curious and full of energy. The weather was fine — chilly but dry — so nothing stood in the way of an active evening of movement and puzzles.
Along the route through Frankfurt the teams turned up at well known landmarks and tucked away corners: past the Römer, Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus and the Alte Oper they searched for clues, solved riddles and completed creative team tasks. Every stop required different forms of collaboration, communication and quick decision making. There was plenty of laughter, concentrated problem solving and great team spirit.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own, competing in a friendly way for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed challenges. I remained available by phone throughout in case help was needed — assistance was offered quickly but rarely required, since the groups worked very independently.
After exactly two hours we met back in front of the NH Collection for the award ceremony. The results were met with enthusiastic applause and well deserved recognition for standout team performances. Experiences like these not only boost motivation but also bring people closer together — a team building experience in Frankfurt that is fun and creates lasting memories.
