Team Building Event Spargelhof Strampe
On January 13, 2023 at 3:30 pm I led an iPad Murder Mystery Tour as the team guide for 18 colleagues from Spargelhof Strampe in Lüneburg. The meeting point was, as arranged, in the courtyard of Café CENTRAL on Schröderstraße, where I welcomed the group, gave a brief tech introduction and split everyone into five teams. The excitement was immediate.
Each team then set off on its own, armed with iPads, maps and a detective instinct, winding through the historic lanes of Lüneburg. Our route took them past familiar sights — including St. Nicolai, the Lüneburg Water Tower and Lüneburg Town Hall — turning the city into an interactive crime scene. Throughout the tour the teams competed for points, earned by correctly solving puzzles and creatively tackling team tasks.
The weather was changeable, but neither drizzle nor wind could spoil the mood. If anything, the challenge made the shared experience more intense. The mix of suspense and fun was exactly the right fuel for a genuine team building experience in Lüneburg.
I remained available by phone throughout the game in case any questions or technical issues came up — in the end there were only a few short check-ins, since the teams worked together so well. After exactly two hours everyone gathered back in the courtyard of Café CENTRAL for the awards ceremony.
Tension mounted as the scores were tallied: the teams in first through third place received medals and hearty applause. In the conversations and shared laughter that followed, it became clear how much the event had strengthened the sense of togetherness.
Experiences like this show how well fun, excitement and real collaboration can be combined. As a team guide it was rewarding to see the colleagues from Spargelhof Strampe grow closer during the tour.
Anyone looking for a team building experience in Lüneburg will find that our iPad Murder Mystery Tours offer a lively way to combine exploring the city with team development.
