On July 29, 2026, we had the pleasure of organizing a Murder Mystery Geocaching event for the publishing group Hüthig Jehle Rehm GmbH. The meeting point was the historic Max-Joseph-Platz, where 75 eager participants gathered with anticipation for the upcoming adventure.
The group was divided into 13 teams, each equipped with a tablet. This technology guided them on their thrilling scavenger hunt through Munich. The participants became detectives, solving tricky cases in a race for the most points. The teams navigated through the city, passing impressive landmarks like the Munich Residence and the majestic Frauenkirche, while collecting clues and solving puzzles.
The weather was perfect, adding to the already fantastic atmosphere. Participants immersed themselves in the world of mysteries and experienced the city from a completely new perspective. This form of team building experience in Munich not only provided loads of fun but also fostered collaboration and team spirit among the groups. Whether analyzing clues or interviewing "witnesses," the teams were constantly challenged to use and combine their individual strengths.
After two thrilling hours, the teams returned to Max-Joseph-Platz for the awards ceremony. Team 'Hercule Poirot' was crowned the winner with 150 points, closely followed by teams 'Colombo' and 'Team 1,' who also achieved an impressive 150 points. These close results demonstrated how dedicated and successful all the participants were.
