Aschaffenburg, the charming city on the Main River, provided the perfect backdrop for an exciting Geocaching event on July 15, 2026. The employees of Sand Profile GmbH gathered at Schlossplatz, eager to discover the city from a whole new perspective.
As the CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of dividing the 11 enthusiastic participants into two teams. Equipped with a tablet and the CityHunters app, the teams embarked on their adventure to find hidden treasures and solve tricky puzzles. The sun was shining brightly, creating ideal conditions as the teams roamed the streets of Aschaffenburg.
The Geocaching in Aschaffenburg led participants to impressive landmarks like the majestic Johannisburg Castle and the fascinating Pompejanum. At each station, exciting challenges awaited, demanding teamwork and creativity. The participants immersed themselves in the stories and secrets of the city while collecting points and motivating each other.
Throughout the tour, I was available by phone to assist with any questions or issues. However, the teams tackled their challenges with flying colors, demonstrating remarkable team spirit. After three hours of fun and adventure, we reconvened at Schlossplatz for the eagerly anticipated awards ceremony.
With an impressive score of 390 points, Team 2 claimed victory, followed by Team 'Winwin' with 285 points. The joy and pride of the winners were palpable, yet the runner-up team also cherished the experience and the time spent together.
