Team Building Event G+H Schallschutz GmbH
On June 19, 2026, I had the pleasure of leading an exciting Geocaching event for the 25-member group from G+H Schallschutz GmbH in Bochum. Our starting point was the cozy Gasthaus Goeke on Josephinenstraße, where the participants arrived filled with anticipation. After a brief introduction and division into five teams, we kicked off our thrilling team building experience in Bochum.
The teams, equipped with tablets and the CityHunters app, set out to discover the secrets and treasures of Bochum. The route led them not only to hidden corners but also to impressive landmarks like the German Mining Museum and the Bochum Theatre. Each stop presented new challenges and puzzles to solve in order to earn points.
The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and team spirit from the start. The participants fully immersed themselves in the adventure, developing creative solutions to tackle the tasks. Throughout the tour, I was available by phone to assist the teams with any issues, but they proved to be highly independent and resourceful.
After two and a half hours of fun and exploration, all teams returned to Gasthaus Goeke, where the excitement reached its peak: the awards ceremony. The team 'Only here for the beer' secured first place with an impressive 420 points and received well-deserved medals. In second place was the team 'Winners' with 360 points, closely followed by 'Group No. 1' with 345 points.
This team building event in Bochum was a great success and offered participants a unique way to explore the city playfully. The positive atmosphere and team spirit developed during the event will surely be remembered for a long time. Geocaching in Bochum is a wonderful opportunity to combine fun, adventure, and teamwork, and to experience the city from a completely new perspective. I look forward to being a team guide again next time and discovering Bochum together with the participants!
