Düsseldorf, the vibrant metropolis on the Rhine, provided us with the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable Geocaching adventure filled with fun and team building. On June 18, 2026, 64 motivated participants from Transport en Logistiek Nederland (TLN) gathered at Grabbeplatz, ready to discover the city in a whole new way.
As the CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of dividing the participants into 10 teams and sending them off on their exciting mission. Equipped with tablets and the CityHunters app, the teams set out to explore Düsseldorf's landmarks such as Königsallee, the Rhine Tower, and the North Rhine-Westphalia Art Collection. Along the way, they encountered tricky puzzles and creative team tasks that challenged not only their intellect but also their team spirit.
The weather was perfect and contributed to the fantastic atmosphere. Throughout the tour, the teams were on their own, but I remained available by phone to assist with any issues. It was impressive to see the participants working together to overcome the challenges and discover the hidden treasures of the city.
After two thrilling hours, all teams reconvened at Grabbeplatz for the awards ceremony. The moment of truth had arrived: which team had accumulated the most points? With a proud total of 210 points, the team 'Something with pink' emerged victorious, followed by 'Wijnfles' with 150 points and 'Currywurst' with 135 points. The cheers were loud, and it was clear how much the team building experience in Düsseldorf had brought the participants together.
