Team Building Event Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft
On June 15, 2026, we experienced an unforgettable day full of sunshine and adventure in Waischenfeld. The Fraunhofer Society had chosen an exciting Geocaching event, and the weather was just perfect for a journey of discovery through this charming town.
Our starting point was the Fraunhofer campus in Waischenfeld, where I warmly welcomed the 47 participants. After a brief introduction, the participants were divided into eight teams, equipped with tablets and the CityHunters app. The excitement and anticipation were palpable as the teams set off to discover the hidden treasures of the town.
During the tour, the teams could fully enjoy the beauty of Waischenfeld. The Waischenfeld Castle Ruins, the Catholic Parish Church of St. John the Baptist, and the St. Anna Chapel were just a few of the fascinating sights to explore. Each team was challenged to solve puzzles and complete creative tasks to earn points and win the competition.
The participants were full of enthusiasm and demonstrated impressive team spirit as they tackled the challenges. It was wonderful to see how the team building experience in Waischenfeld fostered collaboration and communication within the teams. The town provided the perfect backdrop for this exciting mix of adventure and teamwork.
After 2.75 hours, all teams gathered again at the Fraunhofer campus for the eagerly awaited award ceremony. 'The Hunters' triumphed with 420 points, followed by 'Team Six' and the 'Coordinate Chaos Crew', who shared second place with 390 points each. Each participant received a personalized certificate as a memento of this special day.
The Geocaching event in Waischenfeld was a complete success, not only bringing the town closer to the participants in a new way but also strengthening team spirit. This event will surely be remembered for a long time and shows how much fun team building in Waischenfeld can be. We are already looking forward to the next adventure in this wonderful town!
