On June 11, 2026, 17 enthusiastic employees from Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH gathered at Romano-Guardini-Platz to embark on an exciting Geocaching adventure. The participants were divided into three teams and set off eagerly to uncover the secrets of Mainz.
With a tablet in hand, equipped with the CityHunters app, the teams began their tour through the city center of Mainz. The route took them to impressive landmarks like the majestic Mainz Cathedral and the historic Dativius-Victor Arch. Along the way, the teams solved challenging puzzles and tackled creative team tasks. Teamwork was essential, and it quickly became clear that each team member contributed to success with their individual strengths.
The weather was also on their side – a pleasant day that invited participants to enjoy the fresh air and the vibrant atmosphere of the city. The competition for the most points added an exciting dynamic, as the teams approached the tasks with enthusiasm and creativity. The team guide was available by phone for any questions, allowing the teams to fully focus on the adventure.
After three hours of fun and discovery, the teams reconvened at the starting point at Romano-Guardini-Platz for the awards ceremony. Team 'The Winners' claimed the top spot with an impressive 330 points and were awarded medals for their outstanding performance. 'We Win' followed in second place with 255 points, closely followed by 'Team 3' with 225 points.
