Team Building Event Pro-Data GmbH
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of leading an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching event for Pro-Data GmbH in Wiehl on 7 November 2025. The ten participants arrived punctually at Hotel zur Post on Hauptstraße, where I welcomed them, briefly explained the rules and formed the groups. Two teams set off immediately, full of energy and eager to begin the hunt. The perfect weather lifted spirits and made the team building experience in Wiehl particularly enjoyable.
Armed with tablets and our custom app, the teams embarked on an exhilarating Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt through the town center. The technology guided them to various crime scenes, using landmarks such as the Bismarck Tower, the Evangelical Church and even the Wiehl dripstone cave as impressive backdrops. At each station there were tricky puzzles and varied team tasks — points were awarded for correct answers and good cooperation. During the tour the groups operated independently in a friendly competition; I was available by phone if they needed assistance.
Motivation was tangible: team spirit, communication and creative problem solving took center stage. The Murder Mystery Geocaching promotes exactly what we mean by a team building experience in Wiehl — shared moments, mutual support and the collective thrill when a puzzle is solved. Strategic planning could be heard again and again, cheers followed correct results and colleagues offered words of praise to one another. What began as a team building event turned into an intense experience that left a lasting impression.
After three hours everyone returned to the starting point for the awards ceremony. The neck-and-neck race ended narrowly: the Steuern team won with 361 points, followed by the Lenken team with 360 points. The slim margin brought great joy to both sides and underlined how close and exciting the competition had been. Together we celebrated the achievements and reflected on the highlights of the day.
