Team Building Event regiocom GmbH
Magdeburg repeatedly proves to be a city full of surprises, where historical charm and a modern spirit of exploration fit together beautifully.
On November 6, 2025 at 3:30 PM I met the 22 participants from regiocom GmbH at the Faunbrunnen as their CityHunters team guide to begin their Geocaching adventure. After a brief welcome and introduction I explained the format, handed out the tablets with our app, and gave tips on how to approach the tasks. That was the start of a lively team building experience in Magdeburg that immediately created a great atmosphere.
The group was divided into four teams, which then set off independently through the city. Along the route the teams discovered landmarks such as Magdeburg Cathedral, the Green Citadel of Magdeburg, and the Museum of Cultural History—typical stops where puzzles had to be solved and small team tasks completed. The challenges ranged from cracking codes to creative photo missions; every successful solution earned points toward the final score.
During the roughly two-and-a-half-hour tour the teams were on their own and competed against each other in a friendly way. I was reachable by phone in case of questions or technical problems and was happy to receive positive feedback from the teams during the event. The weather cooperated, allowing the walking segments and puzzles to take place in a relaxed atmosphere.
After 2.5 hours everyone met back at the Faunbrunnen for the awards ceremony. It was wonderful to see how quickly different personalities turned into real teamwork — exactly what a team building experience in Magdeburg is all about. First place went to team Fanta4 with 375 points, second place to Team 3 with 345 points, and third place to Die Rally Bande with 255 points. Applause to all participants for the fair and committed competition.
