Team Building Event Hessischer Leichtathletik-Verband
Fifteen members of the Hessian Athletics Association arrived on time and full of anticipation for our Geocaching tour in Frankfurt.
On 23 October 2025 at 3:00 p.m. I welcomed the group at Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz as their CityHunters team guide. The fifteen participants were split into two teams. As with our events I explained the schedule: after a brief introduction the small teams were formed and tablets with the preinstalled CityHunters app were handed out so everyone knew how the tour works.
Then we got started: pure team building experience in Frankfurt. The teams were on their own during the tour, competing in a friendly contest to score the most points. Points were awarded for solving puzzles correctly and completing team tasks together, with creative ideas and tight time windows keeping the excitement high.
Even in somewhat unpleasant weather the group showed their best side: rain and gray skies couldn't dampen the mood; on the contrary the challenges and the shared effort strengthened the sense of togetherness. I was available by phone during the tour to help with technical questions or small queries.
Our route led the teams past well-known and hidden spots in Frankfurt; sights like the Römer, the Alte Oper and the Imperial Cathedral of St. Bartholomew mixed with surprising discoveries off the beaten path. That combination makes our team building experience in Frankfurt so effective: sightseeing and collaboration rolled into one experience.
After exactly three hours everyone met again at Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz for the award ceremony. The winning team 1 A took first place with 360 points. In second place was Team 1 with 345 points, closely followed by Team Turbo with 315 points.
Events like this show how quickly trust and team spirit can grow. A team building experience in Frankfurt offers the perfect mix of games, competition and shared moments — an event that will be remembered fondly for a long time.
