Team Building Event Arcadis Mobility Germany GmbH
The weather was perfect: bright sunshine and mild temperatures accompanied our iPad Tour through Bucharest on 22 October 2025 at 10:00.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed 31 colleagues from Arcadis Mobility Germany GmbH at the meeting point Monument cu Ceas. After a short briefing on the CityHunters app and the iPads the participants were split into five teams — then we were off. The atmosphere was positive and curious from the start, exactly the right setting for a team building experience in Bucharest.
Our route led the groups through well-known corners of the city, past sights such as the Palace of the Parliament, the Romanian Athenaeum and the Bucharest National Cathedral. The teams navigated on their own, solved puzzles and tackled creative team tasks that required both observation and collaboration. The mix of city exploration, history and modern technology made the experience especially entertaining.
The CityHunters app connected all teams in real time: scores were displayed and a live chat allowed quick questions. I was available by phone throughout the tour if assistance was needed — and was fortunately only called on occasionally. That kept the groups autonomous and able to set their own pace, in the spirit of an inspiring team building event.
After exactly three hours we met again at Monument cu Ceas for the awards ceremony. The tension was high: Team 2 claimed the win with 385 points, closely followed by Team 3 with 335 points and Team 1 with 295 points. All teams put in great effort and clearly had fun — for me that is the most important result of a successful team building experience in Bucharest.
A team building experience in Bucharest can look like this: playful, energizing and connecting. The combination of city discovery, tricky challenges and shared strategy created many opportunities to get to know one another and to laugh together.
I am already looking forward to the next groups who want to experience Bucharest with us in this modern and interactive way.
