Team Building Event GGD Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure on October 10, 2025 at 12:00 PM of welcoming the colleagues from GGD Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH to their Murder Mystery Geocaching in Freiburg im Breisgau. The meeting point was Rathausplatz, a perfect place to kick off the investigation together. In total 20 participants took part, divided into four motivated teams.
After a brief introduction, the teams received their tablets with the special app that guided them safely through the cases and to the individual crime scenes. Technology met adventure: the app displayed clues, puzzles and team tasks that had to be solved at notable locations around Freiburg. On the tour the teams encountered the Freiburg Minster, the Martinstor and the Historical Merchants Hall, familiar spots that suddenly became thrilling backdrops.
The teams were on their own during the tour and competed in a friendly contest to collect the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and successfully completing team tasks. I was reachable by phone throughout the whole game in case of technical questions or questions about the tasks. The weather cooperated and added to the good mood.
After three hours all groups returned to Rathausplatz for the joint awards ceremony. The excitement was high, and the joy even greater when the winning team Soko GGD was crowned with 315 points. In second place was Sherlock with 300 points, closely followed by Sugar Babes in third with 255 points. Congratulations to all teams for their effort and team spirit!
Events like this clearly show how effective a team building experience in Freiburg can be: fun, collaboration and a shared sense of achievement in a beautiful city. Whether decoding a clue in front of the University of Freiburg or combining hints at the Minster, Murder Mystery Geocaching promotes communication and togetherness.
It was a thoroughly successful day full of suspense, teamwork and discoveries. I am already looking forward to the next time we turn the streets of Freiburg into one big murder-mystery adventure. A team building experience in Freiburg is simply great fun!
