Team Building Event CBS Cologne Business School GmbH
36 motivated colleagues from CBS Cologne Business School GmbH set off on our Murder Mystery Geocaching in Rostock on October 10, 2025 at 10:30 AM.
As the team guide for CityHunters I welcomed the group on Werftstraße, gave a short greeting and introduced them to the adventure. After a brief explanation the six teams received their tablets with the special app that sent them on a trail of clues through the city. This kicked off a lively team building event where technology and curiosity came together.
The tour led the teams past well-known sights such as St. Mary's Church, the Town Hall and the University of Rostock. Everywhere they collected clues, solved puzzles and completed small team tasks. The teams were mostly on their own and competed in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correct answers, clever teamwork and creative contributions — real moments that brought the team building experience in Rostock to life.
During the roughly three hours of play I was available by phone in case any questions or technical problems arose. The mood was consistently positive: the weather was on our side, mild and perfect for exploring the city. That boosted the fun and the shared experiences, which for me are a central goal of our events.
After 3:00 hours we met again on Werftstraße for the awards ceremony. The results were announced with great anticipation: first place went to team Trash Hunters with 315 points, followed by Die 6 SAP with 285 points and Sally Bollywoods with 270 points. There was great joy at the prize giving — both for the sporting spirit and the many little aha moments during the investigation.
This Murder Mystery Geocaching once again showed how much fun and value a team building experience in Rostock can offer: you rediscover the city, strengthen cooperation and share moments of success. I am already looking forward to the next time we use Rostock again as an exciting playground for team building experience.
