Team Building Event NewCoffee GmbH&Co. OHG
Twelve participants from NewCoffee GmbH&Co. OHG met with curiosity and high spirits at our Geocaching event in Schwetzingen.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed them at 3:00 pm on the Schlossplatz and gave a brief overview of the schedule. After a short briefing the teams received the technical equipment and instructions for using the CityHunters app — everything needed to get started. The group was divided into three teams, and the tour through the city began.
Our route led the teams to exciting spots in Schwetzingen: past Schloss Schwetzingen, a detour to the mosque in the Schwetzingen palace gardens, and even stops near the Schlosstheater. The coordinates on the tablets pointed the way to notable places and to small, tricky challenges.
During the roughly three-hour tour the teams were on their own and engaged in a friendly race for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles, successfully completing team tasks, and cleverly combining clues. As a guide I was available by phone in case of questions or technical problems — a reassuring support that kept the event running smoothly.
The weather was on the pleasant side: not perfect, but nice enough to enjoy the city and boost team spirit. Especially in slightly changeable conditions you can see how well a team building experience in Schwetzingen connects and motivates people.
After exactly three hours all teams met again on the Schlossplatz for the award ceremony. There was a buzz in the air as the points were counted: the winners were team Chiccas&boss with 300 points, closely followed by Ketschecoffeketscher with 285 points. Much joy, applause, and many smiling faces accompanied the prize giving.
Experiences like these are at the heart of a team building experience in Schwetzingen: they combine playful competition with real conversations, encourage collaboration, and create lasting memories. Anyone wanting to rediscover the city will, at a Geocaching event like this, not only see the sights but also grow together as a team.
