Team Building Event Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Deutschland GmbH
As a team guide for CityHunters I fondly remember our assignment on September 26, 2025 in Cuxhaven: at 3:30 pm twelve excited colleagues from Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Deutschland GmbH met at the meeting point on Rathausstraße. After a brief introduction and the distribution of tablets the participants were split into two teams and our exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching began. This team building event once again showed how much fun a team building experience in Cuxhaven can be.
The teams explored Cuxhaven on their own, following gripping cases and solving tricky puzzles that were controlled through the app on the tablets. The tasks led them to well-known spots like the Alte Liebe, Schloss Ritzebüttel and the Hamburger Leuchtturm — real highlights that became mysterious crime scenes in the game. Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and skillfully completing shared team challenges. In this way communication, creativity and togetherness were promoted in a playful manner: exactly what a good team building experience in Cuxhaven is all about.
During the tour the teams worked with focus and great commitment; at the same time I was reachable by phone as the team guide to assist with questions or technical issues. The weather cooperated, the atmosphere was open and cheerful, and you could quickly see how bonds form when everyone works together to find a solution. The mix of puzzles, physical activity and city exploration makes our Murder Mystery Geocaching an ideal element for effective team building experience in Cuxhaven.
After exactly three hours everyone met again on Rathausstraße for the awards ceremony. First place went to Team #294 with an impressive 360 points, closely followed by API Gang with 255 points. The final round brought a lot of praise and solved mysteries — and, above all, satisfied faces.
Events like this show that Cuxhaven provides a fantastic backdrop for team building, whether at the Alte Liebe, the lightship Feuerschiff Elbe 1 or on a walk along the harbor. It was a pleasure to accompany that energy and camaraderie — here’s to more exciting assignments in this beautiful city!
