Team Building Event Landesbetrieb Liegenschafts- und Baubetreuung
As a team guide for CityHunters I clearly remember the morning of September 30, 2025, when I welcomed the group from the State Property and Construction Services in front of Fruchthallstraße in Kaiserslautern. Fourteen enthusiastic colleagues arrived on time, we split them into three teams and after a brief introduction our shared adventure began.
The mood was immediately positive — this is how we like a team building experience in Kaiserslautern: active, full of discoveries and playfulness. After the introduction the teams received tablets with the CityHunters app. I briefly explained the procedure and the rules, then off they went. Participants explored the city independently and competed for points awarded for solving puzzles and completing creative team challenges.
During the tour the teams were on their own and relied on their strengths: piecing things together, observing and discussing. I stayed reachable by phone in case questions or technical problems arose — that way the fun continued without breaking the flow. The weather was decent and provided pleasant conditions; light sunshine accompanied us and showcased Kaiserslautern's sights nicely.
The route led the teams past familiar spots: by the town hall, with a view of the Kaiserpfalz and a detour toward the Japanese Garden — perfect backdrops for exciting tasks and great souvenir photos. A team building experience in Kaiserslautern here means not just competition, but above all cooperation and shared moments of success.
After three hours everyone met back at Fruchthallstraße for the awards ceremony. There was tension in the air: which team had collected the most points? The race was close and the scoring fair and transparent.
First place went to the team Red Hunters with 405 points — congratulations. In second place were the Gelben Gutzjer with 390 points, closely followed by DieWirs, also with 390 points. The joint debrief and closing round once again showed how much this experience strengthened the sense of togetherness.
For me it was an all-around successful day: a team building experience in Kaiserslautern that is fun, gets people moving and promotes real collaboration. I am already looking forward to the next Geocaching event here in Kaiserslautern and to more groups who want to try this form of team building experience.
