Team Building Event Jones Lang LaSalle SE
Königstein im Taunus shines with its blend of historic charm and a lively town centre, the perfect setting for a refreshing team building event.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading an iPad Tour on 25 September 2025 at 3:30 pm for 83 enthusiastic colleagues from Jones Lang LaSalle SE. The meeting point was Bold Campus on Ölmühlweg, where I warmly welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters App. Shortly afterwards the participants were split into 14 teams, each equipped with an iPad as the hub of their adventure – and so our team building experience in Königstein im Taunus began.
The teams set off to explore the town on their own. Our interactive challenges led them past notable sights such as Königstein Castle, the Falkenstein castle ruins and the Capuchin Monastery, all great locations for creative puzzles and team tasks. The CityHunters App connected every group in real time and displayed the scores, which kept the friendly competition exciting.
The weather turned out to be rather unpleasant, but that only strengthened the team spirit: shared moments were celebrated, solutions were found under time pressure and fun remained the focus. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour to help with small questions, but the teams mostly tackled the challenges independently and with lots of energy.
After two and a half hours everyone met again at Bold Campus on Ölmühlweg for a lively awards ceremony. On the podium were Team 13 with 315 points, Team 7 with 300 points and Team 8 with 285 points. There was great joy both among the winners and among everyone who had discovered new sides of Königstein im Taunus.
The team building experience in Königstein im Taunus that day went far beyond a simple points race: it was about connection, shared laughter and seeing the town from a new perspective.
