Team Building Event HSG Heidelberger Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH
What perfect weather — sunny and pleasant, just right for an exciting Scavenger Hunt!
As a team guide for CityHunters I had the pleasure of welcoming the colleagues from HSG Heidelberger Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH at Bismarckplatz on 19.09.2025 at 13:30. After a warm introduction and a brief briefing on the iPad app, I split the 16 participants into four teams. The mood was instantly great: curious, motivated and ready for a genuine team building experience in Heidelberg.
Each team received an iPad with the CityHunters app — the digital tool served as map, task giver and game master. The tour led the groups past landmarks such as Heidelberg Castle, the Church of the Holy Spirit and the Old Bridge. At each station there were detective cases, puzzles and creative team tasks that could only be solved together. In this way sightseeing turned into a real team building experience in Heidelberg.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving the puzzles and skillfully completing the tasks — a mix of brains, speed and collaboration. I was available by phone throughout the game in case any questions or technical issues arose.
After exactly three hours all teams met again at Bismarckplatz for the joint awards ceremony. The competition was exciting until the end: first place went to Die Fantastischen 4 with 330 points, followed by Inspector Clouseau with 255 points and Tatort with 225 points. The winners received medals — a nice finish to an intense experience.
The event once again showed how well playful competition and shared discovery go together. A team building experience in Heidelberg is not only effective but also a lot of fun: people get to know each other in new ways, laugh together and see the city from a different perspective.
