Team Building Event Deutsche Verkehrswacht e. V.
On September 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM I had the pleasure of guiding a particularly lively group as a CityHunters team guide: 17 colleagues from the Deutsche Verkehrswacht e. V. met at Platz der Einheit to rediscover Potsdam together. After a warm welcome and a short briefing we set off on the iPad Tour in Potsdam — the group was split into three teams and the adventure began.
The iPad served as the hub: after a brief introduction to the CityHunters app the teams received their tasks and headed out. The app connects groups in real time, shows scores, and motivates participants with interactive puzzles and team tasks. In this way our tour combines modern technology with classic team spirit — an ideal setting for a team building experience in Potsdam.
In perfect weather the teams explored the city center and visited familiar spots such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Potsdam City Palace, and the Museum Barberini. The groups were on their own, solving puzzles, taking photos, and laughing a lot — always with the aim of collecting the most points. I was available by phone throughout the tour in case questions or small mishaps arose.
The challenges promoted teamwork, creativity, and speed: from tricky riddles to creative team tasks that required spontaneous cooperation. Experiences like these strengthen the sense of togetherness — a genuine team building experience in Potsdam, where relationships are deepened and new sides of colleagues are discovered.
After two hours everyone met back at Platz der Einheit for the awards ceremony. The podium: 1st place went to team Verkehrswachteln with 195 points, followed by Total-Ausfall with 180 points and Potsdam-Power with 150 points. The mood was cheerful and there was great appreciation for the creative solutions.
It was a thoroughly successful afternoon full of energy and good spirits.
