Team Building Event Bundesinstitut für öffentliche Gesundheit
The weather was perfect that morning and instantly put everyone in a great mood at our Geocaching event.
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of welcoming 20 motivated participants from the Federal Institute for Public Health to Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler on September 15, 2025 at 10:15 a.m. We met on Wadenheimer Strasse, where I gave a brief introduction, explained the technology and handed out the tablets with the CityHunters app. The participants were then divided into three teams and the race for the most points began.
During the tour of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler the teams were on their own, solving puzzles, completing team tasks and discovering the town from a fresh perspective. Our team building experience in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler focused on fun and collaboration: the challenges encouraged communication, creativity and mutual support. I remained reachable by phone the whole time in case any questions or minor issues came up.
The stations led the teams to charming spots and well-known sights in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, such as St. Laurentius, the Ahrweiler town fortifications and the idyllic Lindenmühle. Time and again there were interesting facts, little aha moments and places where tricky tasks awaited clever teamwork. The result was a successful mix of city exploration and friendly competition.
After 2.5 hours everyone met again on Wadenheimer Strasse for the awards ceremony. The excitement was palpable as the results were read out: in first place was the team Die Superweiler with 180 points, closely followed by Die Biög Spürhunde with 150 points and in third place the team Boulangerie with 135 points. The winners were celebrated accordingly — a lovely finish to a thoroughly successful team building event.
Our Geocaching offering is a wonderful form of team building experience in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler: experiences that bring people together, shared successes and many joyful memories. I’m already looking forward to the next event in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler and to new teams who want to discover the town with us.
