Team Building Event Siemens Healthineers
Our event concept combines playful city exploration with modern technology and entertainingly strengthens team cohesion – this is exactly our iPad Tour format.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading an iPad Tour for 22 colleagues from Siemens Healthineers in Erlangen on September 10, 2025 at 5:30 PM. The meeting point was Hugenottenplatz, where I warmly welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and the iPad controls, and divided everyone into four teams. From the start you could feel the anticipation: a team building experience in Erlangen means discovering, solving puzzles together and sharing laughs.
The teams then set off to explore the city center on their own. Our tour blends history, culture and modern technology – along the way the groups encountered challenges near notable spots such as Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, the Botanical Garden Erlangen and the Huguenot Church. At each stop there were tricky puzzles, creative team challenges and observation questions: points were awarded for correct answers and good teamwork. The CityHunters app displayed the scores in real time and added an extra competitive edge.
During the tour the teams were self-directed and I remained reachable by phone in case any questions or technical issues arose. The mood was consistently positive and the weather was decent – ideal for an active exploration. It’s activities like these that show how effective a team building experience in Erlangen can be: shared moments create things to talk about and strengthen bonds.
After about 1.5 hours all teams met back at Hugenottenplatz for the awards ceremony. Exciting until the end: the first place went to team Norden+Marburg with 210 points, followed by Ost/west with 195 points and the Hello Kittys in third with 180 points. Faces were beaming, there was a lot of laughter and the team spirit was clearly noticeable.
