Team Building Event Geberit International
The concept of our Geocaching event combines playful puzzles, active exploration and shared ambition – an ideal mix for a team building experience in Chemnitz. On September 9, 2025 at 4:30 PM I, as the CityHunters team guide, welcomed 32 colleagues from Geberit International at Jakobikirchplatz. After a brief greeting and introduction the participants were divided into five teams, handed the necessary devices and given a walkthrough of the app so each group could start the city tour well prepared.
The teams set off and explored Chemnitz on their own: coordinates led to well-known sights like the Karl-Marx-Monument, the State Museum of Archaeology Chemnitz and the Red Tower, but also to hidden corners of the city center. At each stop they had to solve puzzles and complete team tasks. Points were awarded for correct answers and creative teamwork – an exciting competition that encouraged both focus and collaboration. I was available by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or minor issues came up.
The weather cooperated and the mood was consistently positive: there was laughter, discussion and plenty of hands-on effort. Time and again it became clear how much such shared challenges strengthen relationships – a real team building experience in Chemnitz that goes beyond mere sightseeing. The mix of pace, brainteasers and discovering the city generated lots of motivation and closeness within the groups.
After exactly two hours everyone met again at Jakobikirchplatz for the awards ceremony. The tension was high – and then the joy: the winning team The loosers took first place with 345 points. In second place was Guys group with 300 points, closely followed by Blue cube in third with 285 points. Congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to all participants for their commitment and great energy.
