Team Building Event Kita 3L in Ebertsheim
The weather was perfect, with sunshine and a light breeze accompanying our Murder Mystery Geocaching in Mainz and creating a great atmosphere from the very beginning.
As the team guide for CityHunters I had the pleasure of welcoming the group from Kita 3L in Ebertsheim on September 6, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Karmeliterplatz. Twelve participants were divided into three teams, and after a short briefing we set off on an exciting adventure through the old town.
Our Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt combines suspense with teamwork: each team received a tablet with an app that presented the cases and pointed to the next stop. This not only challenged participants’ problem-solving skills but also strengthened collaboration — a true example of a successful team building experience in Mainz.
The teams operated independently during the tour and competed against each other in a friendly contest. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for cooperative team tasks. I was reachable by phone throughout the game in case of questions or technical issues, but for the most part you just saw enthusiastic teams fully engaged and enjoying themselves.
Along the route participants discovered Mainz from a fresh perspective, passing well-known sights such as Mainz Cathedral, the Electoral Palace, and the Dativius-Victor-Bogen. Locations like these become mysterious settings for us and provide the perfect backdrop for an engaging team building experience in Mainz.
After exactly three hours everyone met back at Karmeliterplatz for the awards ceremony. The tension was high: first place went to team Mainzelmännchen with 240 points, followed by Drecksspatzen with 210 points, and Pombärs in third with 165 points. It was a joyful finish full of laughter and celebration of the shared success.
Events like this show how much energy and cohesion a shared experience can unleash. I am already looking forward to the next time — the team building experience in Mainz is not only fun but also creates lasting bonds. See you soon in Mainz!
