Team Building Event Katholische Kirchengemeindeverband Geistingen-Hennef-Rott
As a team guide for CityHunters I had the pleasure of leading a lively Geocaching event on September 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM with 44 participants from the Catholic parish association Geistingen-Hennef-Rott. The meeting point was Bonn Minster (Münsterpl. 1-3a, 53111 Bonn, Germany) – an ideal starting point for our team building experience in Bonn.
After a short welcome and introduction I explained the process and how to use the CityHunters app on the tablets each team received. The participants were then split into seven teams and sent off on their route through the city center. The mood was upbeat from the start: curiosity, competitive spirit, and the joy of discovering together were in the air.
During the tour the teams worked largely independently and earned points by solving puzzles and completing tasks together. Whether creative photo challenges, tricky codes, or small practical assignments, each task required collaboration and communication. I remained available by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or technical support were needed.
Our route repeatedly led the groups past beautiful and significant sites in Bonn. Between Bonn Minster, Beethoven House, and Poppelsdorf Palace the colleagues discovered historical stories as well as hidden details of the city. Stops like these show how varied a modern team building experience in Bonn can be: sightseeing, puzzle fun, and genuine togetherness all in one.
After 2.5 hours all teams regrouped at Bonn Minster for the awards ceremony. Faces were beaming—some with joy over the points, others over the shared experiences. The prizegiving was a cheerful conclusion to a shared adventure and reflected the group's strong motivation and team spirit.
For me it was once again rewarding to see how much energy and cohesion a well-designed Geocaching event can unleash. Team building experience in Bonn brings together experiencing, discovering, and strengthening relationships—and that is exactly what we achieved that day. I look forward to many more shared tours through Bonn!
