Team Building Event VWR INTERNATIONAL GMBH
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of leading a very special company event on 03.09.2025 at 16:00: the iPad Murder Mystery Tour for the employees of VWR INTERNATIONAL GMBH in Lübeck. The meeting point was the Niederegger Arkadencafe on Breiten Straße, a perfect and atmospheric starting point for our adventure. The weather cooperated, so the teams set off for the Old Town in high spirits.
After a short briefing I divided the group into three teams. Each team received an iPad with the CityHunters app providing the route, cases and tasks. The combination of a digital Scavenger Hunt and classic puzzle fun immediately motivated everyone: solving tricky cases, piecing together clues and mastering creative team challenges all promote exactly what we want from a good team building experience in Lübeck.
The teams moved independently during the tour and competed for the highest score. Thanks to the integrated map function and the case stations, the route passed some of the city's most beautiful spots: Holstentor, St. Marys Church and the St. Annen Museum Quarter were just a few of the sights that suddenly became the backdrop for tense interrogations and clues. I was available by phone in case questions came up or technical help was needed.
Over the three hours it became clear how much solving puzzles together connects people. Quick communication, creative approaches and team spirit paid off. The app displayed points in real time, keeping the competitive race exciting until the end and delivering a genuine, lively team building experience in Lübeck.
At the end, everyone met again at the Niederegger Arkadencafe for the awards ceremony. On the podium were: 1st place – Gruppe einsss with 360 points, 2nd place – Gewinner with 315 points and 3rd place – Team 3 with 275 points. There was great joy, a festive atmosphere at the awards and lively conversations about tricky tasks and beautiful city views.
