Team Building Event Landeshauptstadt München, Baureferat - Tiefbau
Under bright sunshine and pleasant temperatures, our Murder Mystery Geocaching on September 1, 2025 turned into a thoroughly successful event in Old Town.
At 1:00 PM, twelve participants from the state capital Old Town, Building Department - Civil Engineering met at the agreed meeting point Max-Joseph-Platz. As team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief overview of the concept and divided them into two smaller teams. After a short briefing our exciting team building event began: tablets with a special app guided the teams to the various cases and crime scenes.
During the tour the teams discovered Old Town from a new perspective, passing well-known sights such as the Frauenkirche, the New Town Hall and the Deutsches Museum. Technology met adventure as the app displayed stations with clues and puzzles. Participants gathered evidence, solved tasks and completed team challenges to earn points.
The two teams were out on their own for the two hours and engaged in a friendly competition for the best performance. I was reachable by phone at all times in case questions or minor hurdles came up. The mix of focus, creativity and communication produced many smiling faces and intense teamwork — exactly what an effective team building experience in Old Town is all about.
After exactly two hours all groups regrouped at Max-Joseph-Platz for the awards ceremony. The winning team The Sherlocks prevailed convincingly, scoring 180 points. In second place was the team Holmes with 120 points. The mood at the prize giving was exuberant and proud — a lovely finale to a successful team building experience in Old Town.
Experiences like this show how shared challenges bring people together and motivate them. If you are up for an interactive adventure that is fun and strengthens collaboration, our Murder Mystery Geocaching is an excellent choice for a team building experience in Old Town — exciting, engaging and memorable.
