Team Building Event Security Label GmbH
As a CityHunters team guide I led a lively iPad Tour on August 28, 2025 at 1:45 PM for 47 colleagues from Security Label GmbH in Cologne. We met at Theo-Burauen-Platz, where I warmly welcomed everyone, gave a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and the iPads, and sent the 47 participants off in eight enthusiastic teams. The mood was full of anticipation — the perfect starting point for a real team building experience in Cologne.
Our iPad Tour blends history, culture and modern technology in a playful way: the teams navigated the city independently, solved puzzles, mastered creative team tasks and collected points step by step. Between Cologne Cathedral, Hohenzollern Bridge and the Museum Ludwig the groups rediscovered familiar spots and had to demonstrate observation, strategy and collaboration. The CityHunters app displayed the scores in real time and provided a motivating live chat — ideal for a lasting team building experience in Cologne.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed against each other in a friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solving tasks as well as for imaginative team performances. I was reachable by phone the whole time, so I could quickly help with questions or minor technical issues.
The weather was fine and added to the good mood — warm enough for a relaxed city stroll without damping the participants energy. Overall, the combination of fresh air, an urban backdrop and a shared focus on the tasks created a lot of fun and visible team dynamics.
After exactly three hours all teams returned to Theo-Burauen-Platz for the award ceremony. First place went to Team 3 with 285 points, followed by Team Eins with 255 points and Team 4 with 235 points. The winners proudly received medals — a nice finish to a successful day.
