Team Building Event Studierendenwerk Koblenz AdöR
48 enthusiastic colleagues from the Studierendenwerk Koblenz AdöR met in the morning, bringing great spirits — the perfect start for our Geocaching day in Koblenz.
As the team guide I welcomed the group at Josef-Görres-Platz, outlined the program and explained how to use our tablets and the preinstalled CityHunters app. After a short briefing we split the participants into eight teams and set off: a team building experience in Koblenz, active, playful and with a clear competitive edge.
The route took the teams across Koblenz past landmarks such as Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, the Kaiser Wilhelm monument at the Deutsches Eck and the Electoral Palace. At each stop they faced tricky puzzles, creative team tasks and hidden clues that earned points. Teams had to solve challenges and make decisions together — that's exactly where real team building experience in Koblenz comes to life.
During the three hours the groups were on their own and could play to their strengths. I remained available by phone as a point of contact in case of technical issues or quick questions. The good mood and the lovely weather helped ensure the fun never ran out.
At the agreed time all teams regrouped at Josef-Görres-Platz for the awards ceremony. The tension was high: third place went to Team 1 with 355 points, closely followed by Fünf gewinnt in second with 380 points. With a commanding lead the team Rebüs took first place with 395 points.
As recognition for their efforts each participant received a personalized certificate; the teams in positions 1 to 3 were also awarded medals. The shared laughter, the little aha moments and the visible closeness among teammates made clear why Geocaching is such a valuable tool for team building experience in Koblenz.
It was a successful day full of discoveries, teamwork and joy — an event the colleagues will remember for a long time. I would be happy to accompany you on the next adventure through Koblenz.
