Team Building Event S-International Mittelhessen GmbH
Our Geocaching event combined puzzle fun, city exploration and shared success into a memorable concept — exactly what we carried out on August 21, 2025 with the company S-International Mittelhessen GmbH.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the 21 participants at 5:00 PM at our starting point on Talstraße in Giessen. After a brief introduction to the schedule and how to use the app, the participants were divided into four teams and set off full of anticipation. The basic idea of the game stayed the same: have fun, work together and rediscover the city.
The teams explored Giessen on their own, solving tricky puzzles and tackling creative team tasks along the way. The route featured many well-known spots — from the Mathematikum to the Botanical Garden, Justus Liebig University and the City Theatre — providing the backdrop for many aha moments and team achievements. This is how a real team building experience in Giessen comes to life: shared wonder, combining strengths and cheering when a puzzle is solved together.
It was important that the groups were largely left to their own devices and collected points in friendly competition. Points were awarded for correctly solved tasks and successful team actions. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case help was needed — but in most cases the teams’ own motivation was enough to overcome the challenges.
After two hours all groups returned to the starting point on Talstraße, where the awards ceremony took place. In beautiful weather we celebrated the results: winner was the team TTUSD with 330 points. In second place was Weltkugel with 315 points, and third place went to Moneypennies with 255 points. The mood was jubilant and proud — a perfect finish to an event full of experiences.
