Team Building Event Globus Handelshof GmbH & Co. KG MH Grünstadt
The weather was simply perfect today — sunshine and a light breeze accompanied our event. As the CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming the group from Globus Handelshof GmbH & Co. KG MH Grünstadt in Heidelberg on 16 August 2025 at 3:30 PM. We met at Adenauerplatz and set off as three teams with a total of 11 participants.
After a short introduction and a run-through of the schedule, each group headed off with a tablet and the CityHunters app. The mood was immediately positive and upbeat: curiosity, laughter and real team spirit set the tone. The goal was to collect points in the interactive Geocaching by solving puzzles correctly and completing joint team tasks.
The route took the teams through charming Heidelberg city centre, past well-known sights like Heidelberg Castle, the Old Bridge and the Church of the Holy Spirit. There were little secrets to uncover everywhere and tasks that could only be completed together. While the teams competed on their own for the highest score, I stayed reachable by phone to help quickly with any questions or technical issues.
After about 2.5 hours everyone met back at Adenauerplatz for the award ceremony. The tension was tangible as the results were announced: winners were Pistoleros with 285 points, followed by Strunzendoof with 270 points. Third place went to Glo-Bu-Bu with 240 points. Congratulations to all teams for so much dedication, creativity and team cohesion!
This experience was a perfect example of how a team building experience in Heidelberg combines fun, competition and shared success. The mix of puzzles, movement and exploring historic places created many shared memories and strengthened collaboration in a lasting way.
