Team Building Event Kuchem Konferenz Technik GmbH & Co. KG

The concept: With Geocaching we combine playful adventure, puzzle fun and targeted team development — exactly what we experienced yesterday at our event in Bonn.

On August 1, 2025 at noon, 18 participants from Kuchem Konferenz Technik GmbH & Co. KG met me at Münsterplatz. I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction and explained how the preinstalled CityHunters app on the tablets works. We then formed four teams and made the final arrangements before the city tour began.

In bright weather the teams set off independently along the route through the city centre. Our Geocaching format mixes tricky puzzles with creative team tasks: only those who pay attention, communicate well and find solutions together can score points. For the full three hours I was available by phone if support had been needed, but the scoring remained in the hands of the teams.

The tour offered plenty of opportunities to rediscover Bonn — from the Bonn Minster to the Beethoven House and on to Poppelsdorf Palace, familiar spots were showcased in a playful way. Those stops make every team experience also a bit of city exploration. The team building experience in Bonn thus takes on a special, lively character.

After exactly three hours all groups met again at Münsterplatz for the awards ceremony. The excitement was high: the winning team Senior took first place. In second place was Freacz 069, followed by Fixie Hartmann in third — all three teams achieved a strong 330 points. A close, fair competition that showed above all one thing: working together is fun and strengthens connections.

Events like this are perfect occasions to laugh together, try new roles and grow alongside one another. The team building experience in Bonn has a lasting effect — not just as a break from everyday work, but as an experience that connects. I am already looking forward to the next companies who want to actively discover Bonn with us.
