Team Building Event EOS GmbH Electro Optical Systems
Perfect summer weather accompanied our Geocaching tour through Old Town and put everyone in a great mood from the very beginning.
As a CityHunters team guide I welcomed 14 colleagues from EOS GmbH Electro Optical Systems at Marienplatz on July 16, 2025 at 2:00 PM. After a brief reception and an introduction to the CityHunters app, the participants were divided into three teams and off they went: a pure team building experience in Old Town, right in the lively city center.
The teams worked independently and competed in a friendly spirit. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for completing creative team tasks, in line with our concept of combining sightseeing with playful collaboration. The route led the groups past famous sights and into hidden corners, so landmarks like the Frauenkirche, the Neue Rathaus and the Deutsches Museum produced plenty of aha moments. During the tour I was available by phone and on hand to help with any questions.
What pleased me most was the energy and team spirit of all participants. Whether cracking codes, gathering clues or tackling joint challenges, you could feel the team building experience in Old Town emerge naturally. Each group displayed different strengths, which made the afternoon both exciting and instructive.
After three hours everyone met back at Marienplatz for the awards ceremony. To big applause the team Die 5 Musketiere took first place with 285 points. In second place were Die Pulvermaschienen with 270 points, and third place went to team Cityhunter with 255 points. The joy over the shared experiences outweighed the excitement about the rankings — a great outcome for a successful team building event.
Geocaching with CityHunters is a lively, energizing form of team building experience in Old Town: fun, discovery and collaboration all in one. I look forward to the next group eager to rediscover the city with us.
