Team Building Event M. Stahl, M. Yönden, I. Witt
Lübeck once again showed why it attracts so many visitors: historic brick Gothic architecture, winding streets and an atmosphere that invites exploration.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a Murder Mystery Geocaching on July 11, 2025 at 9:00 AM for 22 people from the company M. Stahl, including M. Yönden and I. Witt, in Lübeck. The meeting point was on Königstraße in the city center, where we welcomed the group and gave a brief overview of the schedule.
After a short briefing the participants were split into four teams. Each team received a tablet with our app, the central tool for the cases. The mix of modern technology and urban adventure made the experience especially exciting: crime scenes at well-known locations became stages for small puzzles and team challenges.
Under the theme of a team building experience in Lübeck the teams set off to follow leads on their own. Whether at the Holstentor, near St. Mary's Church or on the way to Lübeck Cathedral, teams gathered clues at landmark sites, analyzed evidence and solved tricky tasks. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and well-executed team challenges, so the competition stayed open until the end.
I was available by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or technical issues arose. The perfect weather helped too: sunny and uplifting, which kept the mood very positive across all teams. The team building experience in Lübeck proved to be an ideal combination of fun, cooperation and strategic thinking.
After two hours all groups returned to the starting point for the joint awards ceremony. Cheerful applause accompanied the announcement of the standings: winners were the team Opposition with 195 points, followed by Sixpacks with 180 points and Headhunters in third with 135 points. The successes were celebrated exuberantly and the highlights of the morning were exchanged.
This Murder Mystery Geocaching is a great example of how a team building experience in Lübeck can work in a playful way: teams come together, learn to use their strengths and see the city from a new perspective. I am already looking forward to the next round of investigations in Lübeck!
