Team Building Event Daiichi Sankyo Europe GmbH

As a team guide for CityHunters, I led an energetic Geocaching experience on July 9, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. for 22 colleagues from Daiichi Sankyo Europe GmbH. We met at Marienplatz, Am Fischbrunnen, and set off together on a nearly two-and-a-half-hour adventure across Old Town.

After a short welcome and introduction, I explained how the app works and what tasks awaited the teams. The group was split into four teams and then we were off: with a tablet and team spirit, participants explored the city center and discovered exciting corners around the New Town Hall, the Frauenkirche and the Deutsches Museum. This is what a team building experience in Old Town really feels like.

The teams were left to their own devices and competed against one another in good spirits. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creatively mastering team tasks, from cracking codes to small group challenges. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour, so I could quickly help when questions came up.

The weather held up, and the mood was lively yet focused. Again and again you could see teams puzzling together, discussing and encouraging one another. Moments like these make a team building experience in Old Town a great way to strengthen collaboration in a playful way.

After two and a half hours all groups returned to Marienplatz, Am Fischbrunnen, for the award ceremony. The tension was high and then the joy: the winner team Black sheep claimed first place with 270 points. In second place was Explorer with 225 points, closely followed by Winners also with 225 points.

As a guide it was wonderful to see new dynamics forming and how much fun everyone had exploring the city. This Geocaching format combines a city experience, puzzle fun and genuine teamwork — ideal ingredients for unforgettable company events. A team building experience in Old Town is well worth it.

Whether for a company outing or just a break from the everyday work routine, these tours show Old Town from a different, lively side and leave a lasting positive impression.
