Team Building Event EGYM Wellpass GmbH
The sun shone just right on July 3, 2025 — perfect weather for our Geocaching event in Old Town. Right on time at 3:00 PM I met the 38 participants from EGYM Wellpass GmbH at Max-Joseph-Platz as a CityHunters team guide and gave them a warm welcome. After a short introduction six teams were formed and you could feel the excitement in the air.
Armed with tablets and the preinstalled CityHunters app we set off into the heart of the city: the route passed well-known sights and offered discoveries off the beaten path. A major benefit of our concept for a team building experience in Old Town is that the tasks combine puzzles with creative team challenges — a great mix of mind work and cooperation.
The teams worked independently and competed in a friendly way for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles, finding clues and well-executed team tasks. I was available by phone throughout the tour in case any technical or organizational questions arose.
The route led past notable spots such as the Frauenkirche, the Neues Rathaus and the Deutsches Museum — ideal backdrops for our format that brings Geocaching in Old Town to life. There were encounters everywhere, loud celebrations when tasks were solved and many moments that strengthened the sense of togetherness.
After exactly three hours all teams met again at Max-Joseph-Platz for the awards ceremony. On the podium were: the team 6 Angels for Yousri with 315 points as the winners, followed by The Unbeatables with 300 points and Raspberries with 285 points. The winners enjoyed medals and all participants shared a final get-together that perfectly rounded off the team building experience in Old Town.
This Geocaching format shows how much fun a team building experience in Old Town can be: active, varied and connecting. Anyone who wants to rediscover the city while strengthening their team will have an unforgettable adventure in Old Town with CityHunters. I look forward to the next event!
