Team Building Event DER BUSINESS Travel NettReisen GmbH
Frankfurt delights with urban variety, historic architecture and a lively atmosphere – the perfect setting for an active team building experience in Frankfurt.
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of welcoming 11 participants from DER BUSINESS Travel NettReisen GmbH on July 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holiday Inn - the niu, Charly, Niddastraße. After a short introduction and a quick explanation of how to use the CityHunters app, the colleagues were split into three teams and set off full of enthusiasm.
Our Geocaching tour took the teams across the city to well-known highlights like the Römer, the Alte Oper and the Imperial Cathedral of St. Bartholomew. Along the way they faced a variety of puzzles and team challenges that called for creativity, communication and collective problem-solving. Each correctly solved task earned points, but the emphasis was clearly on having fun.
During the three-hour tour the teams were largely on their own, competing against each other in a friendly rivalry. I remained reachable by phone for technical questions or minor uncertainties, and I was pleased to see how independently and purposefully everyone worked together. The weather cooperated and added to the good mood.
After exactly three hours everyone met back at the Holiday Inn - the niu, Charly, Niddastraße for the award ceremony. The tension was high as the scores were announced: the winners were Powerpuff Girls with 255 points, followed by Frieda Colada with 225 points and Here for a good time with 210 points. Applause, laughter and many satisfied faces made for a perfect finale.
Events like this show how effective a team building experience in Frankfurt can be: you rediscover the city, strengthen team bonds and have a lot of fun in the process. I am already looking forward to the next Geocaching event and to more groups who want to experience Frankfurt in this interactive way.
