Team Building Event Nordakademie gAG
Elmshorn showed its lively side on this July afternoon, providing the perfect backdrop for a shared experience full of fun and motivation.
As a CityHunters team guide, I welcomed 80 participants from Nordakademie gAG at the Nordakademie campus on Köllner Ch on July 1, 2025 at 1:30 PM and introduced them to our iPad Tour. After a brief instruction on using the iPads and the CityHunters app, the participants were divided into 13 teams and the race for the most points began.
Our iPad Tour blends modern technology with playful city exploration — ideal for a team building experience in Elmshorn. The teams navigated the city center independently, solved creative tasks and puzzles at various stations, and discovered well-known spots such as the water tower, the Nikolaikirche and the Elmshorn sculpture garden. The app showed the scores in real time, adding extra motivation.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and joint team tasks that called for observation, communication and inventiveness. I was available by phone throughout the game in case questions or technical issues arose — most small hurdles were resolved quickly.
The weather cooperated, spirits were high and the shared drive was tangible: the team building experience in Elmshorn was put into practice. After exactly three hours all teams returned to campus for the award ceremony. The winning team was Team8 with 480 points, followed by Team 11 (Play to Win) and Team 3, who each scored 450 points and shared second and third place.
Events like this show how much joy shared discovery and playful collaboration can bring. Anyone wanting to experience Elmshorn differently will find our iPad Tour to be an entertaining mix of culture, team spirit and technology. The team building experience in Elmshorn is not only fun but also sustainably strengthens togetherness within the team.
