Team Building Event E.ON Energy Markets GmbH
Düsseldorf impresses with its vibrant mix of culture, Rhine romance and urban flair.
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of welcoming a cheerful group of 18 colleagues from E.ON Energy Markets GmbH on June 26, 2025 at 4:30 PM — meeting point was the Königsallee. After a brief introduction and splitting into three teams, everyone received the clues and instructions they needed for the tour and set off full of curiosity and team spirit. Thus began our interactive team building experience in Düsseldorf: exciting puzzles, creative challenges and small discoveries off the beaten path.
The teams were on their own and competed for valuable points that they could earn by solving puzzles correctly and completing joint team tasks. The stations led to well-known landmarks such as the Rheinturm, the Museum Kunstpalast and the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen — places that took on a playful new perspective during our experience. The weather was perfect, so spirits were high from the start.
I was reachable by phone during the tour in case any questions or small uncertainties came up. Even more important, however, was the teams' self-organization: communication, role allocation and spontaneous problem-solving were at the forefront. Those moments foster genuine togetherness — a real team building experience in Düsseldorf that lets colleagues experience everyday life in a different way.
After around 2.5 hours everyone met again at the Königsallee for the awards ceremony. Cheers and recognition went to the winning team Miami Bunnies with 180 points. In second place were The Huntergethers with 150 points, followed by The best with 120 points. The joy over the successes and the shared experience was clearly palpable and provided a fitting finale.
Events like this show that a team building experience in Düsseldorf combines culture, play and collaboration in an entertaining way. For me as a guide, the beaming faces and the shared celebration are the highlight of every tour — I am already looking forward to the next adventure in this wonderful city.
