Team Building Event thyssenkrupp nucera HTE GmbH
The weather was at its best and provided the perfect backdrop for our Geocaching day in Erfurt.
As a CityHunters team guide I welcomed 18 colleagues from thyssenkrupp nucera HTE GmbH at Domplatz on 12 June 2025 at 1:30 PM. After a brief introduction the participants were divided into five teams and equipped with tablets and the CityHunters app. I explained the schedule and the rules, then the groups set off full of anticipation — a real team building experience in Erfurt had begun.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly contest. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for the joint team tasks: cracking tricky codes, finding creative solutions and discovering hidden clues. The route led them to well known and hidden spots in the city, from Erfurt Cathedral via the Krämerbrücke to the Augustinian Monastery, revealing small stories and surprises along the way. As guide I was reachable by phone throughout in case any support was needed.
This format combines sightseeing and play in the ideal way: Geocaching in Erfurt lets teams grow together through challenges and creates memories that last beyond the working day. A team building experience in Erfurt is not just about collecting points but also about laughing together, puzzling things out and sharing experiences.
After exactly three hours all teams met again at Domplatz for the award ceremony. The moment of the announcement was both exciting and heartfelt: First place went to Die Thüringer Stackfrösche with 360 points, closely followed by Sputnik with also 360 points. Third place was taken by Gewinner with 315 points. The joy was great and the victorious cheers provided a fitting end to a thoroughly successful afternoon.
