Team Building Event VINN GmbH
The weather was perfect for our Geocaching tour and put the whole group in great spirits for an active afternoon in Krefeld.
As a CityHunters team guide I welcomed the 11 participants from VINN GmbH at Girmesgath on June 12, 2025 at 3:00 PM. After a short briefing the colleagues were split into two teams and given the essential information about the app and the game rules. Right from the start you could tell it would be about fun, creativity and a genuine team building experience in Krefeld.
The teams set off and discovered the city with fresh eyes. Our route took them past notable spots such as Haus Lange and Haus Esters and the Liebfrauenkirche — perfect backdrops for exciting tasks and small photographic proofs. During the tour the groups worked independently on puzzles and team challenges, collected points and tackled problems with lots of energy. I remained reachable by phone to help with questions or minor technical issues.
The atmosphere was consistently upbeat and competitive: every team wanted to score the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles, creative team solutions and mastering tricky tasks together. It is exactly this mix of exploration, play and collaboration that makes our team building experience in Krefeld so special.
After three hours everyone met back at the starting point for the awards ceremony. It was inspiring to see how the shared moments had led to real camaraderie. First place went to the team Vinner with 390 points, closely followed by VINNALLSTARS with 315 points. The joy over the results and the shared laughter while looking back on the tricky challenges were the heart of the afternoon.
Geocaching offers great opportunities for a team building experience in Krefeld: it combines movement, strategy and local discoveries — and afterwards conversations over a coffee taste even better. I am already looking forward to the next team building event and to more groups who want to experience Krefeld in this interactive way.
