Team Building Event DB InfraGO AG
As a team guide for CityHunters, I welcomed a lively group of seven employees from DB InfraGO AG at Cathedral Square in Erfurt on June 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM. After a short introduction and handing out the tablets with our CityHunters app, we split into two teams, ready for an exciting adventure through the city center. The team building experience in Erfurt began right there: motivated, curious and eager to get started.
The route led the teams to both famous and tucked-away spots around the city, including the impressive Erfurt Cathedral, the picturesque Krämerbrücke and the historic Augustinian Monastery. Along the way they faced puzzles and team tasks that earned points when solved correctly. The teams were on their own, competing in a friendly rivalry – exactly what makes the team building experience in Erfurt so effective: working through challenges, planning together and laughing against a historic backdrop.
During the two-hour tour I was reachable by phone in case any questions or problems came up. The weather played along, the sun was shining and the mood was excellent – perfect conditions for rediscovering Erfurt together. The mix of navigation, creativity and communication noticeably boosted team spirit: it wasn’t just about competing, but above all about collaborating.
After two entertaining hours everyone met back at Cathedral Square for the award ceremony. The win went to CMMS with 270 points, followed by Die 3 musketiere with 225 points. The ceremony provided a joyful close, with successes celebrated and impressions exchanged. Moments like these are the heart of a good team building experience in Erfurt: connecting, motivating and lasting.
As a guide I once again saw how much Geocaching brings teams together while casting Erfurt’s beauty – from the Old Synagogue to the Predigerkirche – in a new light. If you want to strengthen your colleagues through fun, friendly competition and shared achievements, a CityHunters team building event is a wonderful way to experience Erfurt actively and grow as a team.
